ooias are made exclusively with fabrics from Europe and predominantly in fair production facilities in Portugal, Hungary, and Bulgaria. For the production of a few of our products, we rely on the expertise of a partner outside the EU in Tunisia.

ooia consists of carefully selected, specialized fabrics that were manufactured in Europe. The ooia Seamless String is certified and tested for harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (21.0.46579 HOHENSTEIN). This means the Seamless String is certified skin-friendly and harmless to health.

Furthermore, our wool comes from merino sheep that are treated fairly (mulesing free). The polyamide of the outer fabric consists of recycled material.

Not all the raw materials for our products come from Europe, as this is not possible for climatic reasons.

Delivery & Returns

Your ooias will be delivered to you within Germany by Hermes. To Austria, Luxembourg, France and Switzerland, we always ship with Deutsche Post GoGreen.

It is very important to us that you are completely satisfied with your ooia. Returns are therefore, of course, possible: You must return your ooias within 90 days (unworn) and cover the postage for the return shipment.

1. Place your ooias in a laundry net with similar coloured laundry and wash them in the machine at 40°C on a delicate cycle (colour detergent without bleach).

2. Do not iron. Simply hang your ooia on the clothesline to dry, and it will soon be ready to wear again.

How many ooias do I need for a period?

ooia period underwear is designed to absorb 1-10 tampons or 10-50 ml of liquid, depending on the model.

How many ooia period underwear you use and when you use them depends entirely on your needs – your preferences, your plans, the strength of your flow, and many other factors. Approximately 5 ooia Period Panties are needed to cover an entire period – assuming one is worn at night, one during the day, and used panties are washed after two days.

Can I avoid using other menstrual products with my ooia?

The ooia period underwear is designed to hold 1-6 tampons or 10-30ml of fluid, depending on the model. How many and when you use ooia period panties depends on your needs - your preferences, your plans, the intensity of your bleeding, and many other factors. There is no one size fits all solution. If your period is light to medium, you can most likely use ooia period underwear without additional period products. If you bleed very heavily, you may want to use additional protection (tampon, cup).

How long can I wear my ooia?

If you treat ooia products well, they will last a long time. Period underwear can be used reliably for a long time with proper care according to the care instructions. If you change and wash them regularly, hygienic use is guaranteed - replacement after a fixed period is not necessary.

You can use the ooia nursing bra, everyday underwear, shape shorts, and Feel Dry Top indefinitely; their functionality will not be lost.
