Female empowerment is ooia's central mission. Our product contributes to this mission by enabling many* to deal with their period more contentedly. But we want to achieve more and therefore support various initiatives that promote equality and female empowerment.

Center for Feminist Foreign PolicyThe Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy is a non-profit organisation (gGmbH) and advocates a feminist foreign policy that questions the conventional standards of international politics. Feminist foreign policy means using all diplomatic and foreign policy tools to reduce systemic injustices and to focus on human security. This is the only way to achieve sustainable peace - instead of focusing on military strength and national security. Without feminism, there can be no peace. ooia supports the CFFP as a visionary with an annual donation. Center for Intersectional JusticeThe non-profit organization Center for Intersectional Justice (CIJ) from Berlin is committed to combating structural inequality and discrimination in Europe. ooia supports the CIJ with regular campaigns - for example, on November 26, 2021, we donated 25% of our daily profits to the CIJ. Sail to the CopIn 2019, a group of 36 people sailed from Europe to Chile to attend the UN Climate Conference COP25. With this campaign, the organization raised awareness of the issue of sustainable travel. The group used the 7-week sailing trip for a think tank and worked on solutions for sustainable travel in the future. ooia equipped all 26 crew members with ooia period underwear and also supported the entire crew financially. Menstrual Hygiene DayOn May 28, 2021,Menstrual Hygiene Day , we donated 28.5% of our daily profits to the initiators: Wash United.
Menstrual Hygiene Day pursues the vision "To create a world by 2030 in which no woman or girl is disadvantaged because she menstruates." We support the movement that fights for a world without period stigma and period poverty!

Women's shelters offer women and their children affected by violence safe accommodation, advice and support - at any time of day or night. Every year at Christmas time, ooia donates to women's shelters in Berlin.

In October 2019, an art campaign for the prevention and early detection of breast cancer took place in over 15 cities in Germany - the LOVE YOUR BOOBS Artnight. Breast cancer is by far the most common disease in women*. In order to raise public awareness of the issue of breast cancer, ooia supported the LOVE YOUR BOOBS ARTNIGHT with a product donation.
