Your ooia favourite in merlot: Your low-waist hipster Allover Lace Strong is made from precious recycled Italian lace.
It holds up to 5 tampons of fluid and feels completely dry. This makes it ideal for your heavy period days. In addition, the Hipster Allover Lace Strong is washable and therefore reusable. You can wear the Hipster Allover Lace Strong on its own or as a back-up to other period products.
Our lace is made from recycled polyamide and spandex. The production is carried out in compliance with certified recycling standards, which, among other things, ensure the traceability of the material. A wonderful side effect: by using recycled materials, the lace is even softer on your skin!
The Hipster Allover Lace Strong is delicate and loves to be treated gently. Be sure to use a laundry net - without putting other garments like bras in the laundry net, as these can damage the lace. Your Hipster Allover Lace Strong will thank you and stay with you for a long time.
ooias are sewn exclusively with fabrics from Europe in sewing factories in Portugal, Lithuania and Croatia, which produce ethically and ecologically fair.

ooia is made from carefully selected, specialised fabrics that are made in Europe. The ooia Hipster Allover Lace Strong is certified and tested for harmful substances according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® [21.0.46579 HOHENSTEIN HTTI]. This means that the ooia Hipster Allover Lace Strong is certified skin-friendly and harmless to health.
Furthermore, our wool comes from merino sheep that are treated fairly (mulesing free). The polyamide of the outer fabric is made from recycled material.
The raw materials for our materials do not all come from Europe, as this is not even possible for climatic reasons.

This prevents odours and the proliferation of germs.
We are the only brand that has had the bacteriostatic effect of our products tested. The antibacterial effectiveness has been confirmed by an external laboratory and is tested at regular intervals. This means that the use of the bacteria-inhibiting agent counteracts the formation of odours and the multiplication of germs.
The bacteria-inhibiting effect of the silver chloride takes place directly in the fibre.

If your purchase is over 30€ your ooias will be delivered to you within Germany with DHL GoGreen. If the purchase is below that it will be delivered with the Deutsche Post GoGreen. To Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, we always ship with the Deutsche Post GoGreen.
It is very important to us that you are completely satisfied with your ooia. Therefore, returns are possible: you just have to return ooia within 90 days (unworn, of course) and pay the postage for the return.
Care
how to care for your ooias
1. Wash your ooia in a washing net together with similarly colored laundry at 40°C easy-care wash cycle (color detergent without bleach). Except for the first wash cycle: we recommend washing with dark, non-staining laundry.
2. Ironing is taboo, just hang your ooia normally on the clothesline and it will soon be ready for use again.
3. Slip it back on and feel good!

How many and when to use ooia period panties depends on your needs - your preferences, your plans, the heaviness of your menstrual flow, and many other factors. To cover one period completely you need about 5 ooia Period Pantys - assuming that one is worn at night, one during the day, and that the used panties are washed after two days.
Depending on the model the ooia period panty is designed to hold 1-6 tampons or 10-30ml of fluid. How many and when to use ooia period panties depends on your needs - your preferences, your plans, the heaviness of your menstrual flow, and many other factors. There is no one-size-fits-all solution. If your period is light to medium, you can most likely use ooia period panties without additional period products. If you are bleeding heavily, you may want to use additional protection (tampon, cup).
If you treat ooia period underwear well, it will retain its full bacteriostatic effectiveness for about 2 years. After that, you can of course continue to use them as "normal" underwear - although studies say that underwear is rarely used for longer than two years. But we are happy if ooia is used for longer.
