How many and when to use ooia period panties depends on your needs - your preferences, your plans, the heaviness of your menstrual flow, and many other factors. To cover a period completely, about 5 ooia period panties are needed- assuming that you wear one at night, one during the day, and wash the used panties after two days.

from the outside how "full" an ooia period underwear and ooia period beachwear is. ooia period

Ooias are certified skin friendly and harmless to health. All marked ooia products are certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® [21.0.46579 HOHENSTEIN HTTI]. This means that all
individual components of ooia, from fabrics to yarns and labels, have been tested for harmful substances.

The use of our silver chloride has no negative impact on the environment when washed out. The amounts
of silver returned to nature by our active ingredient correspond to the average natural silver content of
soil or rocks in nature. The actively antibacterial silver ions of the silver chloride product are bound
within seconds in the wastewater stream by sulfide-containing components to form absolutely insoluble
silver sulfide (Ag2S) and are thus no longer bioavailable. This does not inhibit the activity of the bacteria in the biological clarification stage of wastewater treatment. This was confirmed by an investigation from an independent test institute.

ooia products can be washed in the washing machineand then worn again - so you protect the

After wearing ooia period underwear, it is best to wash them out by hand in cold water- this is
especially important for our beige styles, so that no permanent stains appear.

Afterwards it goes into the washing net into the machine at 40°C easy-care-wash cycle - gladly together with other dark laundry - it will not be damaged, really! We recommend our ooia Washbag to protect the high-quality materials of your ooias when washing in the washing machine. Additionally, our ooia Care - detergent concentrate with its deep cleaning effect, is especially skin-friendly and gentle to your ooia.

With our light-colored ooia period underwear, we recommend that you wash them with dark, non-staining laundry in the first wash and wash them with similar colors in the following washes.

Your Feel Dry Top goes in the laundry net together with similarly colored laundry off in the machine at
40 ° C easy-care wash cycle (color detergent without bleach).

Please do not wash your ooia products with heavy-duty detergent, as this is too aggressive for the wool. Instead, ideally use wool detergent or color detergent without bleach, citrate or citric acid.

Please do not tumble dry.

Please do not use bleach or fabric softener as this will reduce the effectiveness of ooia period underwear.

Also, please do not dry clean - but who takes their underwear to the dry cleaners?

Ironing is also a no-go, just hang ooia products on the clothesline as normal and it will soon be ready for use again.

If you treat ooia period underwear as well as described, it will keep its full bacteria-inhibiting effectiveness for about 2 years. Afterwards, you can of course continue to use them as "normal" underwear.

The absorbency of the ooia nursing bra does not diminish. With good treatment, the material is
protected and retains its absorbency.

example, it's common for sewing companies to package finished products in plastic packaging - we have eliminated that completely at ooia.

In Germany, a person's menstruation causes the waste of 12,000 tamponson average in the course of a lifetime. These discarded tampons, in turn, take hundreds of years to break down in landfills. And then some of them turn into microplastics, which then end up in the groundwater - which environmentalists are already raising alarm of.

ooia products are made of numerous technical and functional materials. We have selected them to be
washable and reusable for a long time. Nevertheless, the functionality of some ooia period underwear
materials will degrade over time. Therefore, you should not use an ooia period panty as menstrual
underwear for more than 2 years. After that you can of course continue to wear them as normal

We have thought extensively about the best way to ship our period beach body, as it takes up more space than our ooias. Since we are very concerned about the responsible use of natural resources, we decided to use a 100% recycled polybag here. You notice it's made out of recycled material by the marbled texture. Paper packaging would have caused twice the volume of material and waste, which makes the polybag a more sustainable
option in this case. In addition, our polybags are 100% reusable and recyclable.

Furthermore, it is very important to us to avoid waste wherever possible along the entire supply chain.
Even the boxes used to ship our products from the sewing factories are reused at our logistics provider.

The layer closest to the body is made of synthetic fibers that are insensitive to sunscreen and sand. It

We have had the bacteria-inhibiting requirements for ooia tested and confirmed by gynecologists and
have adapted the entire development of ooia accordingly.

Our membrane system in the ooia period beachwear has bacteria-inhibiting properties at the decisive
points - so that neither bacteria can multiply nor unpleasant odors develop. Our active ingredient silver chloride is tested under the strictest conditions and is permitted for use in Germany under Article 89 of the Biocide Ordinance in conjunction with Section 28 (8) of the Chemicals Act. Silver has been used for centuries to protect against diseases. Already in ancient Greece and Rome it was used to disinfect water.

EU Regulation No 528/2012: biocidal active ingredient is silver chloride. Nano particles are not used.

The ooia nursing bra can be washed in the washing machine and then worn again - so you protect the
