How do I properly wash my period underwear?
To keep your ooia period slips feeling new for a long time, care is very easy - with a few simple steps:
- Preparation: After wearing, briefly rinse your fully saturated ooia by hand with cold water and then place it in a laundry net, such as the ooia Washbag, before it goes into the washing machine - this way it is optimally protected.
- Wash cycle & Temperature: Wash it at 40 °C on the delicates cycle together with similarly colored laundry. This way the sensitive materials are effectively cleaned without being damaged.
- Correct detergent: Use a gentle detergent without bleach or harsh additives, e.g. a wool or color detergent. Our specially developed ooia Care laundry concentrate is ideal, as it deep cleans, is particularly skin-friendly, and protects the materials.
- Drying: Avoid the dryer and let your ooias air dry. Ironing is not necessary and should be avoided.

How do I know when my period underwear is full?
Most users can wear their period underwear for 8 to 12 hours - depending on the strength of their bleeding. As soon as the slip feels damp, you should change it. For hygienic reasons, a change is recommended after 10-12 hours at the latest.
How many period panties do I need?
